Demon Days limited edition. Great cover, great music... but such a high price... that's probably why I like it so much.

Actually, it's a whole song. It's Can't Stand Me Now by the Libertines. It's so great, because it's an open dialogue between Carl Barat and Pete Doherty and it amazes me how they communicate together by their songwriting.
Favorite vocalist:
Damon Albarn. For an unknown reason... his voice soothes me. I could go with Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys... I don't know why though... I just like it.
Favorite guitarist:
Graham Coxon is an amazing guitarist and Alex Turner's guitar makes me dance.
Favorite bassist:
Alex James' bass is so funky by time... and it really acts as some king of magical musical glue between all the instruments used in Blur (Which really means a lot). I looove him because he's such a great writer too... and such a laid-back bassist who made it his duty to live the rock'n'roll life for those who can't. (That makes me jealous)
Favorite drummer:
The Arctic Monkey's drummer is REALLY good... and I have to admit that I generally don't notice the drummers.

Andrew McMahon is a great pianist, Damon too. Plus, Damon is an awesome composer.

I have to admit that I know nothing about classical music or Jazz music though...

I used to play a little bit of keyboard and guitar... but I totally lost it. I can sing... it's not horrible... but it's not great. It's a karaoke-level voice.

There you go. Hong Kong by Gorillaz, live at Manchester's opera house. Damon is hot in it. Ahahahah. Seriously, keep close attention to Zeng Zhen (the asian woman with the fairies hands). She's playing a trad chinese instrument called the Gu-Zheng. Whatever it is... it sounds so good.

Oh mon dieu.

Vous allez dire que j'ai un parti pris... peut-être, mais sincèrement... c'est une des plus belles chansons que j'ai jamais entendue.

Le piano (ou le clavier?), est tout simplement magnifique... la voix de Damon m'appaise... la mélodie m'adoucit... et j'aime bien les paroles.

Cette chanson parle de Damon et Graham. Graham, c'est l'ex-guitariste de Blur et l'ex-meilleur ami de Damon. Grosse chicane, beaucoup de tension du à la popularité de Blur et de Gorillaz, les tournées, l'alcoolisme de Graham, la drogue, la famille, les side projects de Damon et les nouvelles directions artistiques qu'il voulait prendre. Tout cela, en même temps... ça fait beaucoup pour une amitié, même si elle est vieille d'une vingtaine d'année.

Peu importe l'histoire, la chanson est simplement magnifique.

Ici, je l'ai live. C'est fou comme ils m'impressionnent live, même si Damon ajoute souvent des mots. Sur cd, la voix de Damon est plus calme et douce... mais elle reste incroyable.
